Speed : The computer processed data on an extremely fast rate In few seconds computer can perform such a huge task that a normal human being may take days or even years to complete. The speed of computer is calculated in megahertz (MHz). At present powerful computer can perform billions of operations in just one second.
Accuracy : The computer are also very accurate. The level of accuracy depends on the instruction and the type of machine being and computer is capable on doing what is inserted for to do.
Reliability : Reliability is measurement of the performance against some are determine standard for operation without any failure. The major reason behind the reliability of the computer is that at hardware level it does not require any human between its processing. Operation more ever computer have to built in diagnetic capabilities which help it continuous monitoring of the system.
Storage capability : Computer can store large amount of data and it can recall the required information almost instantly the memory of computer is relating small. It can hold any certain amount of information therefore the data is stored on storage device such as magnetic tape or disk. Small section of data can be accessed very fast and into the storage device as and when user required for processing. In order to explain the idea of storage capacity like CD , Harddisk , DVD , floppy disks etc.
Versatility : Computers are quite versatile in nature. They can perform multiple task. At one moment it can be used to play music and in between we can print a document as well. All this work is possible by changing the program. In brief we can say that a computer can perform various task by reducing the task to a series of logical steps.
Diligence : Computer being a machine does not suffer from a human nature of friendness and to concentration. If four millions of calculation have to perform then the computer will perform last fourth million calculation with the same accuracy and speed as the first calculation.
